Who disbelieves that Tehran's negotiators told US envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner that the clerical dictatorship -- whose policy for 47 years has been "Death to America!" -- had 60 kg of uranium enriched to 60%—enough material that could be further enriched to weapons-grade levels for roughly 11 nuclear bombs? But hey, worrying about such matters will only give us wrinkles.

Add it to the long list of lies

🚨🇺🇸🇮🇷🇵🇰 BREAKING: The Supreme Leader gave the green light. Vance flying to Islamabad Tuesday morning... The internal struggle in Tehran played out exactly as I'd been tracking. The IRGC pressured the negotiators to hold a firmer line and refuse talks until the blockade ended. Pakistan, Egypt, and Turkey pushed Iran to attend anyway. The team waited for a final decision from Mojtaba Khamenei. He said go. Trump effectively extended the ceasefire by a day, now expiring Wednesday evening instead of Tuesday. That's the entire window. One day in Islamabad to either produce a framework or watch the bombs resume. Vance, Witkoff, and Kushner all flying in. Same team as round one. Different stakes entirely. The first time around, the ceasefire was holding and both sides had time. This time, the U.S. has a blockade running, Iran is reclaiming missile launchers, and the deadline is hours away. During talks between U.S. and Iranian delegations in Pakistan, the topic of Ukraine unexpectedly came up. While discussing U.S. guarantees in the event that Iran halts uranium enrichment and abandons the development of nuclear weapons, the Iranian side asked how the United States is fulfilling the 1994 Budapest Memorandum, in which it pledged to respect and protect Ukraine’s sovereignty. The U.S. delegation left the question unanswered.
