Italian right-wing Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni's crushing defeat in today's referendum on judicial reform has shattered her aura of political invincibility, and her opponents now reckon she can be toppled in a general election expected next year. politico.eu/article/italy-…

@PiperK @GOP Colorado and several states have majority absentee voting. SAVE act will disenfranchise millions. Senate Republicans are creating this problem. It's illegal and unconstitutional.

I Didn’t Vote For The PayPal Mafia 🇺🇸
@PiperK @GOP Yes, that’s the plan. Utah, a red state, also has universal mailed voting and Republicans in Utah are now mad at the Republican Lt. Governor for opposing the Save America Act and refusing to give the DOJ complete voter data.

It's not clear how people in Washington state would even vote under the Save America Act. Everyone votes by mail here. Does the @GOP expect us to spend tens of millions to revamp the whole system before November?

NEW: For the first time, ProPublica has been able to quantify how many U.S. citizen children have been directly affected by Trump’s immigration crackdown: more than 11,000 kids had a parent detained — and that’s an undercount. 1/ 🧵 propublica.org/article/trump-…

It has gone largely unnoticed that the chief enforcement official, for the SEC, Margaret Ryan, left suddenly last week. She had been restricted from investigating sketchy trades and investments involving the Trump family and close associates.

His name is Karim Abu Nassar. He’s a one-year-old Palestinian child who was abducted by Israeli soldiers in Gaza. Karim's father, Osama Abu Nassar, was caught in gunfire near their home and forced to leave his son on the ground and approach an Israeli checkpoint. The army detained Karim and interrogated Osama. They tortured the infant in front of his father, burning him with cigarettes, pricking him, and sticking a nail into his leg. Karim was released after ten hours and handed over to his family by the International Red Cross, while his father remains in detention. Israel needs to be declared a terrorist nation.

The Treasury just declared the U.S. insolvent. The media missed it By Steve H. Hanke and David M. Walker March 23, 2026, 11:14 AM ET The U.S. government is insolvent. That’s not hyperbole — it’s the conclusion drawn directly from the Treasury Department’s own consolidated financial statements for fiscal year 2025, released last week to near-total media silence. The numbers: $6.06 trillion in total assets against $47.78 trillion in total liabilities as of September 30, 2025. Steve Hanke is a professor of applied economics at The Johns Hopkins University and a member of the Board of Directors at the Federal Fiscal Sustainability Foundation. He is the co-editor, with Barry W. Poulson and John Merrifield, of Public Debt Sustainability: International Perspectives (Lexington Books, 2022). David M. Walker is the former Comptroller General of the United States and the Chairman of the Board of Directors at the Federal Fiscal Sustainability Foundation. fortune.com/2026/03/23/us-…

Let me explain what just happened 👇 5 minutes before the President announced a halt to attacks on Iran… someone placed a $1.5 BILLION bet on stocks going up and dumped $192 million in oil. 5 minutes… These trades were 4 to 6 times larger than anything else in the entire market. Whoever did this wasn’t guessing. You don’t risk $1.5 billion on a hunch. There was zero public indication this announcement was coming. No leaks. No press. Nothing. The only people who knew were in the room when the decision was made. Someone in that room picked up a phone. And within minutes they made more money than most Americans will earn in a thousand lifetimes. In a single trade. On a war that cost you $4+ a gallon gas and $16 billion in tax dollars. American citizens funded this war. Politicians are profiting from it. This is not the first time. Every major announcement from this administration has had massive suspicious trades right before it dropped. Tariff reversals. Policy shifts. War decisions. This is the most blatant insider trading operation in the history of American politics. It’s not even close. And it’s happening over and over in broad daylight. You would go to federal prison for trading on a tip from your cousin. These people are front running war decisions with billion dollar bets and nobody will ever ask a single question. Nobody will be investigated. Nobody will be charged. By tomorrow this will be buried under the next satisfying headline. Just like last time. And the time before that. The game is rigged. And they’re not even trying to hide it anymore…

BREAKING: Just five minutes before Trump's announcement to halt the attacks on Iran, massive trades reportedly hit the market. In one move, $1.5 billion in S&P 500 (ES) futures was bought while $192 million in oil (CL) futures was sold. These orders were 4–6x larger than anything else at the time. The trader seemingly made huge gains. Unusual.

Republicans want the court to ban states from accepting mail ballots that arrive after election day, something that 14 states allow. Doing so could make it much harder for voters to use mail voting. democracydocket.com/news-alerts/fa…
