A few interesting moments from today's HAM v. Karen Read & Aidan Kearney hearing. From the outset, Judge Gildea appeared determined to keep the parties focused on the issue actually before him: whether a protective order should enter governing documents that may be produced by the Norfolk DA's Office. Multiple times, attorneys attempted to pivot into broader arguments about Anti-SLAPP motions, discovery, and the future direction of the case. Gildea repeatedly brought them back to the narrow question before the Court. One of the more memorable exchanges came when Attorney Bradl argued that information has appeared online that TB has never received through discovery and does not know the source of, including materials he claims have surfaced publicly despite never being provided to him. Judge Gildea responded, "It's kind of ironic your client is complaining about anything online." The comment drew a noticeable reaction in the courtroom. Another interesting moment occurred when Attorney Tuxbury argued that the plaintiffs' subpoena to the DA's Office was issued in response to Karen Read's earlier subpoena. Judge Gildea immediately pushed back, noting that Read would simply argue her subpoena was limited in nature. Before Tuxbury could go much further, Attorney Damon Seligson stood up and replied, "You've made my argument for me, Your Honor." 😅 The Court also spent considerable time discussing the plaintiffs' position that they need these documents before the Anti-SLAPP motions are heard. Judge Gildea repeatedly questioned why the documents were necessary at this stage and what exactly the plaintiffs needed from the DA's Office in order to oppose the anticipated motions. Bradl argued that plaintiffs should be prepared to defend their complaint against motions to dismiss when they file suit and should not need broad discovery in order to do so. Tuxbury countered that the Anti-SLAPP motions are not yet filed and that the plaintiffs should not be prevented from obtaining discovery while discovery remains open. He also indicated that amendments to the complaint are expected to be filed soon, suggesting the plaintiffs intend to further develop their allegations. One detail that caught my attention was discussion surrounding the overlap between this case and the O'Keefe v. Read/Canton Bars wrongful death lawsuit. Tuxbury raised the possibility of coordinating or consolidating discovery efforts between the two cases due to overlapping witnesses, issues, and evidence. Given that discovery battles have already been fought in the wrongful death case, it was notable to hear that concept raised here. There was also discussion regarding the upcoming Anti-SLAPP motions themselves. Bradl indicated his motion is forthcoming and will be filed shortly. Because Seligson's filing deadline is later, Judge Gildea requested a courtesy copy so he could review where the parties are headed before issuing a decision on the matter currently before him. That request may be one of the more significant developments from today's hearing. It suggests Judge Gildea is looking not only at the immediate protective-order dispute, but also at how his ruling could impact the Anti-SLAPP motions that are quickly approaching. One final procedural note: Gildea referenced Tuxbury having attempted to participate during a hearing in the O'Keefe wrongful death case when issues involving some of his clients arose. Gildea did not allow him to comment. Today's discussion highlighted just how much overlap now exists between these parallel civil cases. At the end of the hearing, Judge Gildea did not rule from the bench. Instead, he took the matter under advisement and indicated he wanted additional information before making a decision.

BREAKING NEWS: Karen Read announced she will be filing a motion to compel production of documents and the deposition of Colin Albert. "Colin Albert refused to appear or produce documents...his attorney said he is unavailable and then, suddenly, said Colin would only be available for seven more days and then [Colin] would be gone for the entire discovery period," Karen's Lawyer, Aaron Rosenberg, told Judge Mark Gildea just seconds ago. Earlier, Karen also announced that she intends to file similar motions for Brian Higgins, Matt McCabe, Jen McCabe, Nicole Albert and Brian Albert, as those witnesses are attempting to avoid their depositions until late July or early August of 2026.

As expected, no livestreaming of today's 3PM ET John O'Keefe and Karen Read civil hearing will be permitted today in the Judge Mark Gildea's virtual Plymouth Superior Court. I will have updates, and a recording, as the hearing unfolds and concludes.

Elisa "Twisted Trash" Bennet is the absolute most WT pos scammer to walk the planet. And trust me I've associated with the worst of them in my time. The fact that she spent an entire 90 degree gorgeous day on a stream bashing @DoctorTurtleboy and trying to solicit donations (not for any good cause.. not even to donate to the "house defendants" fundraising efforts.. but for HERSELF *shocking I know*), instead of spending time with the one kid she didn't lose custody of, should say it all. While I was at the beach with my children and device-free, I got home to find out she used her scamming channel to mention my name several times during her hypocrisy-filled rants, as she flashed her 27 payment platforms across the screen for doing absolutely nothing. The worst she did today though wasn't her shameless dry begging.. it was platforming the PREDATOR and person who criminally harassed me and my innocent children for years, and has sexually harassed numerous other women- Jason Broyles from Bristol, Connecticut. She and the other low budget losers on her screen, seal clapped for this predator after Elisa chose to read an article he wrote on X where he managed to continue the harassment against me (likely at the behest of or in an attempt to get in the pants of the pyscopathic woman who simply cannot move on from a short term dating relationship with Aidan Kearney) by posting confidential grand jury documents, that he disguised to look like he was sharing in an effort to out Aidan. Jason Broyles is arguably one of the most dangerous and evil human beings to EVER walk this planet, in my not so humble experience and opinion. And Elisa Bennet is putting every woman and child on this earth in danger by trying to portray him as a victim that was used and abused by Aidan, despite knowing FIRSTHAND, that Broyles GLEEFULLY harassed me and tormented me and my innocent kids for years. He WILLING and KNOWINGLY sought out Aidan and CHOSE to do the things he did to me and my kids, with a smile on his face. Thank you to all who checked in and offered words of support and encouragement over the past few days. Tuesday at about 7 pm, in the middle of dinner in Boston with a close college friend, I received horrible, soul crushing news from distraught family members. The past few days have been very difficult. As anyone who loves their dogs as much as I do will tell you, there is a large void at home, but the support is greatly appreciated and has been helpful to getting me back on my feet. Thank you all.

Over the last 24 hours some audio of me has been widely shared in which I say that I believe Karen Read accidentally hit John Okeefe with her car. The narrative being pushed is that I knew she did it and lied for cash. I had no idea where the audio was from and no way to explain the context. Krusty claimed it was a phone recording of me, suggesting that this is what I really believed when no one was watching. Now I see where it’s from - a February 2022 YouTube presentation when the story first came out and I got asked about it by a commenter. This was back when the media was reporting that there was Ring footage of her hitting him, and I had never seen the autopsy photos or any of the other mountains of exculpatory evidence. I’ve been pretty open that like most people I believed the media and police reports when she was first arrested. Then I found out the truth by reading court filings and examining the evidence. Unlike them I don’t have to lie to prove my point.
