I gotta love that the worst year I’ve had since I was teen has to end with me on my period over Christmas that I also have jury duty over the week of. At least 2026 looks like it might be a really amazing year for me.

@ssassenn I have been thinking about this none stop because cows alone can’t live anymore without humans. If they just let them go they will mostly all die off in not fun ways. It’s very strange the unchanged humans are super cared for but not all the animal who can’t live without people.

@neybitxh That’s surprised me too but I think it’s just everything ugly about humans is fully taking root in that city. I was shock how it’s just a mess of smoke, pipes, and metal. How does anyone live there and like it?

Thank god for Motion Picture because we just got the bill for my husband’s hospital stay, it’s $171,000 and after what insurance covered and adjusted, we only pay $100. I almost had a heart attack myself seeing those sorts of numbers.

@neybitxh If you work in film you get excellent medical coverage. My husband is part of the editors guild and even with his multiple heart attacks this year we hit our cap at 1k and everything else was covered by insurance.

Forgot to update yesterday but Sunshine’s operation went well. All is good and currently she’s a donut for the next two weeks.

Sunshine is going in this morning to get fixed. I know it’s the most common operation in pets but still going to be stressing that she’ll be ok. 😭

Same docs and team operated on him four times. They told him they better not see him again anytime soon.

Another update: husband ended up having a 2nd heart attack due to the improved blood flow moving plaque into a branch vein that caused it to block it. He’s back home now and doing fine but the ER staff is getting a little sick of seeing him. lol

Update: He’s doing fine. Doc said it was his body adjusting to his stints and that the buildup he still has was pushed to a new place. It’s cleared up now and doc sounded really confident he’ll be fine with two new meds that will help address the issue.

Man 2025 really is the worst fucking year. Lost my cat Goku, lost my Granny, lost a friend suddenly, husband now at two heart attacks, and the world is fucking nuts.

Not doing so great. Husband had a heart attack 6 days ago due to a stint complication. It was fixed and all seemed well. Now I’m back in the waiting room of the hospital while my husband is being worked on for a second heart attack. Please let this all be ok.
