EPD B squad joined WA State 4H Know Your Government as they handed out meals in Ellensburg this afternoon.

There’s a broken water main in the alley behind the Daily Record. There’s a sea of water flowing. The 200 block of West 4th Avenue between Main and Water Streets is closed. The alley north of that location is also closed until further notice.

Police activity near the court house. EPD assisted KCSO in locating a malicious mischief suspect. Subject surrendered without incident to a perimeter unit after initially fleeing their residence.

DUI driver nearly hits residence. This driver borrowed their friends car,but drove it like they stole it! It was like a Dukes of Hazzard epic fail without the sound effects.

Water Street will be closed from 9th to 10th Avenues for a couple of hours for a fallen tree blocking the northbound lanes. Sometimes trees have minds of their own, but we will get to the root of the problem.

While most people were behaving and enjoying the beautiful day, multiple people received reminders (infractions) for having open alcohol containers. Officer Druktenis has no problem issuing infractions for such violations while recording her exercise on her fancy fitness tracker.
