No deep dive into Wigans finances released today @KieranMaguire?
English

@beardedtyke @johndanbatch You're not wrong, surprised we haven't seen a few go already
English

@ElliotLittler @johndanbatch Could well be a few clubs pal. Football is eating itself and without regulation, we will see multiple clubs go to the wall. There isn’t an endless stream of rich people waiting to bail out all these clubs in trouble

"there is now a belief that things have gone wrong "
What a terrible, terrible shame !

Barnsley are reportedly planning more budget cuts next season which could see them become one of the lowest spenders in League One 💷 Via | @reluctantnicko The club was bought as part of a long term project but there is now a belief that things have gone wrong 🙅🏻♂️ #BarnsleyFC

@PKendrickWIG Freeing up a squad place for a signing that the Reading admin apparently knows about? 😅
English

@mattlatics In terms of disappointed, Andy Delort for me, really thought he was gonna be class, and then went on to have a decent career after stinking it out for us 😅
English

Grant Holt, remember being really excited when he signed back in 2013 but he was a massive disappointment #wafc

Who’s the worst striker your club’s ever had? 😅🤦♂️
English

@PKendrickWIG With a 6 month old of my own now this hits incredibly close to home... can't help but think there should be criminal charges for the agency that advised putting a 4 month old baby on their front to sleep. Horrifically sad
English

@marra_X10 @PKendrickWIG Huddersfield paid over £3mil for him last January, not gonna happen
English

Eight goals in 11 league games now for Joe Taylor. Not a clue how he came to be allowed him to leave Huddersfield on loan but it's looking more and more like the worst (best for Latics!) decision of the season. #wafc
English

@LeonWobYP Last time I checked both teams had to play on the pitch so not really an excuse. And considering their game seems to be long balls down the channel it wouldn't make a difference anyway #wafc

🟠🟤🐔REACTION: Bradford City boss Graham Alexander labels the timing of his side's fixture at Wigan Athletic as a 'joke' after League One loss.

@WiganFans_RL @thehorse1 A football club is a unique business though that unfortunately does demand that level of investment. My point is if he's not going to do it, then I'm open to him looking at other options
English

@ElliotLittler @thehorse1 If you had a business would you invest in something that returned nothing
English

@WiganFans_RL @thehorse1 I personally don't have a massive issue with stadium stuff, the Brick can't really function without both clubs whoever owns it, my biggest issue is the apathy Danson seems to have, and the level of investment needed is just not there
English

@ElliotLittler @thehorse1 I don’t really get what’s going on but I think everyone on Latics side are being a bit dramatic. You have to think it’s a business
English

@WiganFans_RL @thehorse1 Fair enough, I was sure I'd seen the odd fan have a pop, but of course you get that with every fanbase
English

@ElliotLittler @thehorse1 I’ve not seen any of our fans moan/praise him. Pretty neutral. We’ve given our star players new contracts which is the first time in a long time so I’m personally happy
English

@thehorse1 Think so, just a few things I've seen on here makes me think that, could be wrong
English

Lots of passionate views on here at the minute, so I'm curious what the actual concensus is #wafc
What would you rather have, carry on as we are with Danson never really investing properly, or 'lose the stadium' but get a new majority owner that would invest more
English

@jake_wafc What will probably be the case is the club will pay rent, but will keep the revenue from ticket sales
English

@jake_wafc There are plenty clubs that don't own their ground, the club would still get income from gate receipts, although we'll never truly know what percentage etc
English

@WAFCLouis @WAFCFAN2013 The stadium is more marketable to sponsors and partners as a football ground, so doubt it will go 'full rugby'
English

@WAFCFAN2013 Just end up paying rent instead and playing in a red and white ground
English

@BenHall873466 I'm not sure I look at that tweet and think 'that's the man to push us forward' 😅
English

@zmbn66 @BBCRMsport @BBCSounds Footballers aren't usually the most articulate 😅 I wouldn't worry about it too much!
