April WASDE: #USDA shuffled the #soybean balance sheet today — crush raised +35 Mbu to 2,610 Mbu, exports cut -35 Mbu to 1,540 Mbu. Net effect on ending stocks: zero. Crush is running ahead of pace. NASS data through Feb show an average of 222.4 Mbu/mo, or 100.9% of the 1,322.9 Mbu seasonal target. Exports have more ground to cover. FGIS inspections through Apr 2 total 1,134.4 Mbu — 90.6% of the 1,252.8 Mbu seasonal target, even after the reduction. But the current pace of 37.3 Mbu/wk is running well above the linear WASDE pace of 29.6 Mbu/wk if #soybean exports stay at the same rate and don't taper off. All data is at agland.sdstate.edu/Grain

I just can't help but feel like everyone's acting like everything's fixed when there has been absolutely no long-term solution to anything offered. We just simply avoided the worst case scenario last night?
