@GUYSHELTON@Kish_P14 Only really 'the face of' and predominantly the academy, final sign off and a lot of the 'scouting' is David Sullivan, the worst man in football.
@theamazinglamb@_GrantTandy@TheAthleticFC Sullivan refuses outright to buy a manager out of contract and specifically only targets those with premier league experience, it means we get whichever manager is currently unemployed from within that pool - the club has been run like somebody playing darts with a blindfold.
@theamazinglamb@_GrantTandy@TheAthleticFC Moyes wouldn’t work with DOF Tim Steidten, his coaches left him (chiefly Alan Irvine) we lost our best player and were regularly losing 4/5-0, we’d have been relegated under Moyes too. We needed Sullivan to hire a competent manager and address recruitment issues, he did neither.
It's an absurd end to an utterly surreal day, which reflects a total lack of self-awareness, humility or recognition as to just how badly West Ham United have failed their many loyal supporters, not just today, but for much of the past decade.
They may return to the top flight before long, but it will take some time — and many, many changes — for fans to believe in their club again. They sold their soul for the Championship.
After relegation from the Premier League, @TimSpiers explains why West Ham are completely broken.

@TheGaryLambert We'd have gone down with Moyes after Rice left by now, average age of the (small) squad was something like 30, and because we were buying 'prime years', no resale value to reinvest, just losses. Rice papered over the cracks.
The problem is though if they sacked Moyes now Kinnear looks foolish and knee jerk. But the argument for keeping him is wafer thin based on vague concepts rather than footballing thought. The fact that this bad run has seen the repetition of failing tactics feels like he’s done.
@janhopi Made peace with this at Christmas, Nuno has had 3 or 4 games where his selection has been straight up wrong, but otherwise sound.
Blame goes to, in order: Sullivan (8000% more than anyone else), Brady, Potter, Boris Johnson, Nuno, Lopetegui (but less because he's clearly nuts).
@Ellis_Samizdat you might not be ready to talk about this yet but was Nuno at fault here? I really assumed he'd turn it around but he seems to have made some weird decisions.
@WestHam Like if you think David Sullivan should leave the club
RT if you think he should be sent to prison for the rest of his natural life.
Silver lining is that he's lost millions today.
