Ok but can we talk about lee ahn’s opening scene? This is not just introduction, they made this scene deliberately to show who he really is
first of all the shower scene right after the hunt is not random or to make girls scream😂
We could see him washing off blood and this separates the man (hunter) from the prince (regent attending a royal event)
Hence, lee ahn has 2 sides
Raw lee ahn- hunt, blood, aggression
Refined lee ahn- palace, politics
The shower is the boundary between them.
His first ever line: “after seeing blood all morning… i remain fervid”
This line alone REVEALS his entire character
What it tells us is that 1.) He is not numb to violence 2.) He actually feels intensity from it 3.) There is a suppressed fire inside him
