Our year 6 book club met with @edgechristopher the author of Escape Room. We really enjoyed the book and we got the chance to have our questions answered. Thank you for inspiring us!

In today's Geography learning we recapped the natural resources that Africa had and how they were effected after the Scramble For Africa @foxfield @FFHumanities

We began our new topic of light in Elm today! The children explored how light travels and the children were also introduced to the brand new Science Enquiry & Working Scientifically Skills icons @ScienceFoxfield @foxfield

Y6 are proud to share our learning based on our core text ‘Trash’ by Andy Mulligan. We wrote action narratives of the main characters’ escape from the police & our graffiti artwork was inspired by Brazilian street art. @foxfield @IPAT_Edu @ElmFoxfield @BeechFoxfield

Here’s a sneak preview of y6’s display with our art outcome, focusing on Brazilian street art. We used printing to create the brick wall and paint pens for the graffiti in a style and medium influenced by the streets of Brazil. @IPAT_Edu @foxfield @ElmFoxfield @BeechFoxfield
