READ & CHAT This afternoon we welcomed Paul for another read & chat session in our coffee shop. The story and poem created lots of conversations about lots of different things, great to see everyone so engaged #hicaactivities

SATURDAY AFTERNOON After a great day @HullMinster we headed across the road to enjoy a pint before heading home #hicaactivities

HULL MINSTER Thank you to @HullMinster for a great day celebrating the Spitfire 90th Anniversary today, we especially enjoyed the musicians who had everyone singing along #hicaactivities

RELATIVES MEETING A huge thank you to Zoe @TheHICAGroup for coming in today to do a talk about dementia for our relatives. It was very informative and everyone said it had helped hugely #hicaactivities

WATER COLOUR PAINTING This week we enjoyed enrolling in a new painting class with Deborah. Over the next few weeks we will learn how to use water colour paints and create a final painting at the end to keep for our rooms #hicaactivities

COMMUNITY CAFE This afternoon we had a great time at the @Hull_Museums we enjoyed a film and music quiz and chatting with Bill and Ursula. Thank you as always for your dedication and care #hicaactivities

MOBILE MUSEUM We enjoyed welcoming in Helen from the Mobile Museum yesterday afternoon. We got to take a look back in time and reminisce about school days, childhood toys, old money, wartime memorabilia and much more #hicaactivities

QUIZ NIGHT Our sycamore community enjoyed a quiz night. We are getting in sone practice for our HICA quiz starting very soon @TheHICAGroup #hicaactivities

GARDEN CENTRE TRIP Residents enjoyed a day out at the Hornsea garden centre. We had a walk around looking at all the plants for ideas and then some lunch in the cafe #hicaactivities

FLOWER ARRANGING Our ladies had a great time arranging these beautiful blooms and making our home look beautiful #hicaactivities

VALENTINES DAY 💝 We enjoyed our Valentines party yesterday, we had entertainment from Donna Marie and danced thhe afternoon away #hicaactivities

CHURCH SERVICE We were pleased to welcome Reverend Lindsey and friends from St Hilda’s Church this afternoon. Everyone enjoyed a lovely service, reminiscing about St Valentine and Ash Wednesday, and it was lovely to sing some hymns together. 🎶 ⛪️ #hicaactivities
