The reason why Kidd dressed as a man was because pirates aren't exactly the most noble of people... and there is a saying... or more like warning about leaving a woman alone with a bunch of men in a boat for days on end on the sea. Balwin is a moron who would have a very painful fate realistically and historically.

They were historically inaccurate in nearly every facet of the game from the armor to the swords, to even the basic architecture of japan being wrong. They failed in every single possible way with shadows, there wasn't a single successful attempt made

Kassandra from Odyssey has been canonised, but would never have been able to operate or be treat the same way if she was real. If I want accuracy, I wouldn’t look to a video game.

The Romans went to other countries in Celtic armour with Spanish swords used by soldiers drawn from cities in Italy once seen as foreigners who spoke a variety of languages. The ignorance of Rome’s early history on this app is very disappointing.

@Garlicoyal @nonregemesse Gods, Customs, Language, Ritual, Armor/Weapons, etc. Romanization's strength wasn't really aggressiveness but its ability to subsume new aspects very quickly and fluidly.

@Garlicoyal @nonregemesse I wouldn't really classify Romanization differently to Hellenization (since you brought up the Greeks). Both were pretty open and fluid adoptions of the dominant culture. If anything you could posit Romanization was actually took more INTO roman identity than it spat out
