@ElseSlayer @Needle_of_Arya Yep. When I was pulled over a year or so ago I was asked for it and the cop gave me a ticket for not having it. Had to go to court and show it, even though the system showed my car was registered. Very Kafkaesque.

I hadn't even thought about this phenomenon, the idea that someone could just roll up on your car and peel off your registration tag so that they could drive their own ratchet-ass car on the road without proper registration without being caught by the coppers...
