I'm enoying Crimson Desert a lot, but wonder if many of its issues simply boil down to poor Korean to English translation/instruction, and a lack of play testing with English players. As an example; in one early puzzle that's stopping many players, after powering a nearby device the game tells you to hang onto and force push the newly powered device. Only issue is the device that's next to you that just got powered up, is NOT the device you're supposed to do that with, instead it's actually a gate further away and out of sight. If the game just read "climb the powered gate, and force push its core" instead, people would know to look for a powered gate, not the nearby device. Another example; Blinding Flash Finisher attack asks you to press R2 after blinding enemies with a press of R1+L1. Only issue is it should read press R2 while HOLDING R1+L1 on a blinded enemy. Nowhere does it state the previous move has to be held. It's small little language fixes like this, that could dramatically improve the games quality of life and pacing, as well as it having a better UI and inventory management system in general. #CrimsonDesert #PS5
