Approaching 48 hours without sleeping. My flight has been continually delayed 3 hours at a time, 4 times now, so I know if I fall asleep now I will not be waking up for my flight. Haven’t been back in the USA for a month & hopefully I’ll be there by tomorrow 🤟🏼

Hey @DHLAfrica @DHLUS your office in Cotonou Benin put me through 3 hours of extortion to send a package back to the USA. Trying to force me to get fake certificate of authenticity from random people who all asked for money to send me to their “bosses” so I could get it done “fast enough”. They then cut open my package to force me to pay their “affiliate” to pack it who tried to charge me $400 for cardboard. After being forced to agree to $20 to repack my same package they tore open, my package was now “overweight” making it $200 more to ship. The front desk staff said if I paid him $100 USD in cash, he would charge me less to ship it. 3 hours. 10+ people trying to extort me. I’m glad I’m well traveled and had someone with me who spoke french, but that was a horrendous experience & I hope you look into this ASAP. Once they knew I was American, they tried to take full advantage. Now let’s hope they actually shipped my package since they knew what was in it & how valuable… Tracking # hasnt updated since.
