This is the real disagreement: you’re redefining existence as a gift only if it meets a survivability or comfort threshold. That makes value outcome dependent. Once dignity depends on predicted conditions, it’s no longer inherent, it’s earned. That’s a philosophical downgrade.
And when hardship becomes a reason to prevent life rather than confront injustice in its many forms, the problem stops being suffering and starts being who we think deserves to exist.
Bro, I’m gonna put this conversation to rest here but I leave you with this
The question is not whether life will struggle, life always does. The real question is whether we will respond to that struggle with love and responsibility, or with the belief that some lives would have been better off never begun.
English

@ElvisDicezz Choosing not to create a life is not the same as saying that existing lives in difficult circumstances are worthless. It is simply acknowledging that existence is not an inherent gift, if it is defined by a desperate struggle for survival.

I stand to be corrected but I feel this couple are wicked for bringing this girl into this terrible world and Nigeria to be precise. No difference from AS people marrying each other.

I agree that Nigeria isn’t uninvestable and that recent NGX returns have been strong. However, advising beginners to go as high as 90% in Nigerian equities feels risky. Recent outperformance can create recency bias, and FX risk still matters a lot for investors with dollar-linked goals.
A balanced allocation that includes meaningful Nigerian exposure alongside global assets may help beginners manage volatility, policy risk, and currency swings while they learn. Nigeria can outperform, but concentration risk shouldn’t be downplayed.

Archimedes principle from Physics class if you remember
Let me try to simplify it.
Think of a big bathtub full of water 🛁
When you put a toy boat in the water, it pushes some water out of the way
The water doesn’t like being pushed, so it pushes back up .If the water pushes up hard enough, the boat stays on top and doesn’t sink.
A big ship is like a huge toy boat:
Even though it’s heavy, it’s big and hollow inside, that lets it push away lots of water
The water pushes up really hard, so the ship floats.

When a Christian mocks another believer’s public devotion and resorts to a very lame attempt at character assasination, that’s not wisdom or discernment.
That’s a faith so uncomfortable with its own visibility that it turns on sincerity to look sensible.
Christianity doesn’t teach recklessness, yes, but it also doesn’t teach believers to police devotion using the language of secular comfort: “don’t inconvenience people.” That’s not wisdom. That’s embarrassment.
If the quickest way you prove you’re “reasonable” is by shaming another Christian’s faith, then the question isn’t their devotion
it’s how thin yours must be to survive only when it’s invisible.

Next time, don’t inconvenience people because of your religious mindset. And honestly, na una wicked pass.
