Wuwa launched on steam a year & a half into its release with the bulk of its player base using in house client/epic. Seven Deadly Sins Origin launched on steam day 1 w/ no in house client. That means steam is 100% of its PC playerbase. It’s launch which is the peak of the games viewership is competing with wuwa’s pinky toe in PC viewership two years into its release champ. I’m afraid the only thing getting smashed currently is those steam reviews.

WuWa might honestly be the most overhated game I have ever seen. There are dozens of entire channels and accounts dedicated to just screaming "wuwa bad" for 1-2+ years straight. I am genuinely concerned for the mental health of anyone that actively follows these echo chambers.

3.1 has been the BEST quest yet in Wuthering Waves and it's not even close for me. I became a sobbing mess‼️ There are so many things that make this story one of the most compelling narratives we've had yet. Firstly, the huge cosmic scale threat of Aleph-1 meant Rover truly feels grounded as a character in his power, he doesn't feel like some sort of immense god.. Along with Aemeath and her precious special relationship with Rover, totally humanised him in a way that allows you to TRULY experience and care for his character. This really means that the huge lore drops that we got in this patch hit EXTRA hard, because we really SEE Rover for who he is. Without spoilers, Aemeath's story is now my favourite for any gacha character. What she has to go through, sacrifice and hold to as a burden, WIPED me emotionally. I loved her characterisation. It truly had so many levels of depth that really kept you intrigued the entire quest. I also loved how the handled the intro to this quest. I loved the featured characters, I loved the discoveries we made and again, the huge amounts of worldbuilding. This quest had everything for me Crazy worldbuilding Amazing developments of multiple characters INSANE lore drops for Rover PEAK OST BEST BOSS FIGHT YET Everything that makes an MSQ great to me, they delivered with. (kuro pls keep doing these longer quests i beg) I can't stop talking about this patch W Kuro Games Will do a in depth story review later.

Wuthering Waves 3.1 (Part 1) Story Review Writing 9/10 Music 10/10 Boss Fight 10/10 Narration 10/10 World Building 10/10 Quest Area and other parts of the quest 10/10 Visuals 10/10 - Lucilla & Sagrika tease was a good touch. I really enjoyed how it was presented. - Aemeath has the strongest story involvement and writing in this arc. Her character felt well integrated into the narrative, with clear motivations and emotional moments that were executed thoughtfully and felt natural. - Rover had good character development here. We learn a lot more about their role and responsibilities while still feeling like there’s much more beneath the surface. They also laid the grounds for what will be their next goal overall.
