Just started building my first mobile game! 🚀🪐 It's a cozy colony builder where you terraform the planet. Built with React Native & Uniwind, plus Hono for backend. Really happy with the early UI! #indiedev #reactnative #gamedev

@thymikee I am using device-agent consistently. Believe this would be helpful when implementing features so agents can better verify changes. Yeah of course

New in agent-device: image diffs are now visual + machine-readable. Agents can tell: → where the change happened → text movement vs visual change → which part of the screen changed From “close enough” to “Wi-Fi moved 17px”. This cuts design→code iterations by 40–60%.

I've been playing with React Native WebGPU recently and it's really flipping my perspective on animations.

@swmansion Unfortunately the article has no mention "VirtualGestureDetector". The only mention is a short line of "You can now effortlessly attach gestures to Text components and inline fragments." Was looking for some details, breakdown, usage of this api

Gesture Handler 3 made GestureDetector a true host component. 🙌 And while it fixed many edge cases, it didn’t always work well inside Text or SVG. So we added InterceptingGestureDetector and VirtualGestureDetector, letting you attach gestures without changing the native view structure. Check the video to learn more!

How nice would it be if @claudeai code would allow reacting to messages? No need to send a message to express oneself

@swmansion Neat! How did you sync audio with text highlight?

React Native Audio API is a powerful, flexible, and truly cross-platform way to add audio to your React Native app. 🎵 We teamed up with Perch to enable natural text-to-speech so any article could be listened to like a podcast. Along the way, we cut audio preloading from ~10s → ~1.5s ⏱️, enabled multi-sound & background playback, smooth progress tracking, and more. 🧵

Mentions in react-native-enriched are way more powerful than you'd expect. Any character can be a trigger, and with solid event support to control the flow, you can build pretty much anything. 💪 Check out this example with user and channel mentions, an emoji picker, and even custom chat commands 👇

@satya164 My biggest pain with static config is localizing screen names. Is this possible somehow now?

Thinking of adding a `with` property to static navigation config const Drawer = createDrawerNavigator({ // ... }).with(YourWrapper) It'd let you add a wrapper and pass props to the navigator. An escape hatch to be able to use dynamic logic without re-architecturing the app.

If I am already at option 4.(text input), then typing "1" should not select first option imo.

@claudeai @bcherny When I am reviewing the plan and I am on 4. to tell claude what to change then I start numbering items I want changed by typing "1", then instead of typing "1" it chooses the first option "clear and auto-accept
