I’m disappointed with the loss tonight @PolyBlueDevils … but the love that many of my people at Poly showed me once again today makes me feel so much gratitude. They were so damn happy for me and my team’s success. But their team was great today and @connorigoe_ was unbelievable. 18 points on 4 3s in the 1Q! Ended up w/ 34 and scored his 1,000th without any fanfare (as a Junior). If I’m an Ivy League University I’d be all over this kid for Basketball alone. We expect to play them again!

@DaveZenon That’s why they are where they are and why he got them turned around in the time he has. Most important thing in the game is every small detail.

I'm going to attempt to predict all five NYSPHSAA brackets in this thread. An impossible task, and some really tough decisions to be made in the q'final round. Just note I'm not 'slighting' or 'disrespecting' your team by not picking them. They're all good at this point:

@PastorCoach917 Second coach he has run out of town…. Also 2nd African American coach as well. Both guys have great reputations as being player friendly coaches and Trae has asked for both to leave. Not right!

@brianmccormick It’s the “if it’s not broken to fix it” mentality. If kids are shooting and they aren’t going in most people will direct them to the most generic way of shooting to get them some kind of consistency. However a lot of factors should be taken into consideration when teaching

@IWUhoopscom I’m currently coaching a kid in hs that had D1 interest and was playing exceptionally this season and decided to take the Early decision to the University of Chicago because of their academic prowess. Some kids see the bigger picture as well.

The best NCAA D3s all have multiple student-athletes who had NCAA D2 interest and/or offers. Kids pick D3 over D2 often. Might be better academic fit; maybe a chance to play sooner; maybe better social fit; etc. Nothing surprising about a recruit picking D3 over D2. #d3hoops

Play Quick, Find Solutions These are the types of gains players need to make on the court during training. The ability to make quick decisions and find solutions improve a players game significantly, but also makes everyone around them better!!
