In order to get youth employed, we need to provide them with the skills in order to be successful. Having practical skills make a candidate desirable, and more employable. We need to provide youth the opportunity to develop these desirable skills, to lower the youth unemployment%

#EM203Robin I have learned the importance of the digital age and how the advancement of technology has impacted learning. Exploring the learning theories have opened my eyes to how teaching occurs today. These course concepts are even more relatable as we shift to online learning

The first couple of weeks of class have taught me a lot about how learning has changed in a digital age. I believe that digital learning tools such as the internet have enhanced our ability to learn more effectively. Look forward to learning more! #EM203Robin

It is only the start of EM203 and I've already gained much insight about the many ways of learning through the new world of technology and the impact multimedia has on the generations to come. #EM203Robin

@EM203KCohen Hi Kylie, I agree, it was very interesting to learn about multi-tasking considering how much we are doing that with remote learning!

It is three lessons into EM203, and I've learned so much! One lesson that I found very interesting was that while my generation often multi-tasks, researchers have found that this is not very effective in a school environment! #EM203Robin

@nicolelaurier1 Hi Nicole, learning about teaching in a digital age and the internet is an incredible source, especially in this day in age which the advancements in technology.

During the first lessons in EM203, I learned about the 3 M’s (multi-media, multi-modal and multi-tasking), the theory of “Learning by Doing” through “Teaching in a Digital Age” and about the birth of the Internet. #em203robin

I really enjoy the course thus far! I like how it is very different than any other course and we are able to apply learning theories to discover how we learn best. Addition I enjoy learning about how technology has effected learning! #EM203Robin
