When schools are provided the proper funding/resources for students, we can see how extracurricular activities fosters a sense of community as well as provides a stress outlet that differs from day to day activities.

BREAKING: Trump returns to D.C. after flipping the entire NATO summit on its head. He didn’t just talk tough — he got our allies to commit to 5% GDP in defense spending. That’s over double the old deal. One day. One president. One standard: America First. 🇺🇸 Thoughts? ⬇️

@EM203_Kayleigh Brought up the issue of where schools are located. Another issue that relates is based on where schools are located, the funding varies which inevitably affects education quality in lower socio-economical communities and areas. #EM203problems

@lsaly275260 mentioned the issue of inaccessibility to extracurriculars due to financial barriers. Another issue that relates is the social stigma that follows being lower income for students who are unable to afford extracurriculars and missing out socially. #EM203problems

@kyramcint16 Identified the problem of language barriers: Institutions lacking the resources to assist ESL (english second language) students. We need more awareness surrounding language needs and translation requirements! #EM203problems

@Em203menna Identified problem: Staff support within schools — lack of ECE’s and special needs support. Many educators are stretched too thin with large class sizes and staffing shortages! It is time to invest in people who make learning possible✨📚#EM203Problems

Conducted a memory experiment with and without distractions. With music, a movie, and family chatter, recall was harder. In silence, remembering was much easier. It showed me how important a distraction free environment is for studying! #EM203robin

Teaching and learning in the digital age means embracing the 3 M’s: - Multi-media for engagement - Multi-modal for accessibility - Multi-tasking... which isn't always a strength. Let’s dive into the implementations of tech wisely. #EM203

@em203jasonxie Connectivism is so fascinating! It's so crazy to think about how everything that is learned is essentially built upon itself, really cool stuff!

It was super interesting to learn about the different learning theories, such as connectivism, and how it applies to me and the students around me. I am excited to learn more about learning in a digital age! #EM203Robin
