The way we killed NFTs by not using them or buying into the hype, I feel like we could've done the same with AI. But people are lazy. They don't want to learn new skills. And now AI is more common than it ever should've been and killing the planet at a fast rate.

If I had a dollar every time that I explained that the purchase price of a capital asset is the discounted value of future cash flow or benefit derived therefrom, and therefore there is no economic justification for capital gains rates, I'd have like $20 extra (after tax).

I have 3 S-Corp tax returns prepared by 3 different unenrolled preparers for the same client. These returns are absolute trash and surprisingly enough, the majority of the mistakes are similar among all 3 preparers. No surprise this client needs the clean up crew to fix this mess.
