i spent a week reading stitch's documentation.
not their marketing site. the actual technical docs about their ledger, their payment switch, and how they handle reconciliation across six products.
here is what stood out.
most fintech infrastructure companies sell you cards. or they sell you wallets. or they sell you lending. you pick one and integrate it. then you need another product and you integrate a second vendor. now you have two systems that do not share data. reconciliation becomes your job.
stitch built one ledger first. then they built cards on top of that ledger. then wallets. then lending. then deposits. then payments.
every transaction from every product writes to the same place. that means when a loan payment comes in through a card swipe, the ledger knows without someone building a separate script to make the two systems talk.
that is not magic. that is just good architecture that most vendors skip because it is harder to sell a ledger than it is to sell a card product.
their implementation time claim is ninety days. zand bank reported under thirty days for their integration. that is believable because consolidating six products into one integration removes most of the waiting time between vendors.
the compliance piece is straightforward. data stays in riyadh or dubai. they have local teams. sama and cbuae frameworks are documented. nothing speculative there.
stitch is worth a look if you are currently managing three or four different vendor relationships for your fintech stack. not because their marketing is clever. because their ledger architecture solves a problem that most founders do not realize they have until year two or three.
