#Olderadults with #dementia are often prescribed 5+ medications per day. This significantly increases the risk of drug-related problems (DRPs). By optimizing #medication use through #medicationreviews this concern can be properly addressed.

#Dementia impacts more than 55 million people worldwide. As the global population ages this number is expected to increase to 150 million by 2050. Individuals with dementia experience cognitive impairment which results in behavioural, memory, understanding, and language issues.
