@DragonheartCafe Unless you're a big Vtuber already, I've learned that revealing your model beforehand is actually encouraged so you can gain interest. Obviously keep toggles and major parts of the rig hidden until the debut though!

Vtubers, what’s the advice on design reveals? Should I wait til my model art is done, or just reveal the design sketch? Do I need a ref sheet? Should I reveal it well in advance of my debut, or keep it hidden? My brain is made for rigging, not for social media 🫠

@UmariTomoe I am not that interested in nsfw content personally, so I get confused when people randomly swap from sfw to nsfw out of the blue. Clarifications in tags and such help! Other than that I don’t think I have a bigger opinion on this discourse

Seeing so much NSFW vs SFW vtuber discourse has been kinda crazy. I'll at least offer my perspective as a SFW creator. My choice isn't really about moral superiority or anything like that— I just personally think intimate stuff should be private and tied to love. It's deeply ingrained in my brain and there's not really any changing that without making myself super uncomfortable. That being said, I don't really care if people sexualize me so long as they're respectful. I think it's one of those "It is what it is" things. It's gonna happen regardless as a VTuber so it's important not to be judgemental about it. That being said, I don't think NSFW creators are inherently evil or anything like that. Everyone has different beliefs and ways of expressing themselves, and that goes for the fans too. I might not understand that side of the coin fully, but I think so long as nobody is getting hurt it's okay. These creators have been quite kind to me and I'd never wish any ill upon them. I know there's more to this discourse since it's fairly nuanced but ultimately I think people should just stick to the sort of VTubers they enjoy. There's a creator out there for everyone and telling people that their way of doing things is wrong ultimately won't change anything. We're all adults here (I hope) so let's stick to content that makes us happy and high spirited!! 🫡

⭐️Genuine question for everyone⭐️ What made you stop watching/supporting a streamer you used to really enjoy? I'll go first. There was a streamer I used to support a lot. I was there from the beginning, watching both him and his community grow. During his first subathon, I gifted a lot of subs because I genuinely wanted to help him reach his goals. But over time… he only completed some of the smaller goals. The bigger ones kept getting pushed back with promises of “eventually.” Then another subathon happened... Same thing again. 2 years later, those goals still haven’t been done. At some point it stopped being about the goals themselves and started becoming about trust. Viewers support creators because they believe in them, and I think follow-through matters more than people realize.
