@Simulacrnt @Mayfuel Iirc the 2B9 vasilek, a semi-automatic breech loading mortar, uses generic 82mm pattern mortar shells that every other infantry mortar system uses. Same goes for bigger 120mm systems.

Also makes parts commonality (with existing infantry based units) and manufacturing easier on paper but then again it will be offset by the complicated robotic loading system.
