Police have charged a man with two counts of attempted murder (domestic violence) and arson, after he allegedly stabbed a woman and her son before setting a home on fire. The man critically injured the 15-year-old boy, who is in hospital fighting to survive. The offender also injured the woman, leaving her with non-life-threatening physical injuries. He attacked them at a home in Raceview, Queensland, on Sunday and is due to face court today.

A man, known to the baby, has just been charged with the little one's murder. The baby is the 10th Australian child killed this year.
