@haleybot@UntamedScience Please don’t hunt me down! I know my profile says I’m in Arkansas, but I’m like… so totally in… like the Faroe Islands? Yeah. There.
@UntamedScience Those are azaleas?!?! I immediately thought rhododendrons because of the size of the blooms. Of course I’m not knowledgeable about either plant.
Regardless… GORGEOUS! 🌺
What’s the difference between Trump’s cabinet and a cactus?
With a cactus, all the pricks are on the outside.
Thank you, I’ll be here all week. Don’t forget to tip your waitress.
@UntamedScience@Behind_Science What a fantastic video AND song! And… the song!!! That was such fun to watch, and you all clearly had an ice-tastic time!
Watching this footage gets me emotional because SnowCamp exceeded every expectation I had for it. Jonas (@Behind_Science ) and I created SnowCamp for one simple reason: to bring people together.
In our line of work, we need experiences like this—moments of connection, adventure, and shared purpose. If no one makes them happen, they don’t happen. So, we decided to go to Jonas’ home and explore.
And honestly? This job is hard. There’s no clear path—we’re all forging our own way. That’s why gathering like this is so important. We need to support each other, swap stories, and share the journey.
My hope was that everyone would find something they were searching for, whatever that might be. And from what I saw? The energy, the camaraderie, the bonds we built—it was something special. That’s why this footage hits me so deeply.
None of this would have been possible without every single person who said yes to being part of it. For that I am so grateful.
@UntamedScience I’ve loved stomping on those things in the dry fall woods since I was a kid! I’m 55 now, and I most certainly would jump upon one with joy (for it and me) to this day… and hopefully beyond!
