Today a trans-identifying male finished 1st Female at parkrun, pushing over 100 actual females down into a worse finish position. He nearly won outright & is now close to breaking the F age group record.
Parkrun policy allows this erasure of females & their achievements.🤬👎

A parkrun female age group course record was smashed to smithereens by a trans-identifying male on Saturday, probably now out of female hands forever. The previous holder appears to be a local legend. Parkrun’s “inclusion” means exclusion of females & erasure of F achievements.

Women’s sport is for biological females. Mens sport is for those with a biological male body.. it really isn’t complicated. No one is banned from sport, just a category they don’t qualify for, just like age, weight or para category We don’t have categories for height, feet size or wing span because sex difference is the biggest differential between binary humans.

A fantastic and inspiring list of women in sport. But to ignore the elephant in the room is cowardly in a week in which Seb Coe told the world of the impact on women of males in their sports. The brave women defending the integrity of female sport deserve to be acknowledged.
