@BashirElRufai This isn’t even about Igbo presidency or any type of healing from the past shenanigans. It’s about supporting & voting for the right candidate.
Give me any competent candidate from any tribe in Nigeria, that is better than PO, I will vote for him without thinking about it twice.

In continuation of my extensive consultations with Nigerian leaders, today, notable South East Leaders, and I visited our respected former President Goodluck Jonathan @GEJonathan on a consultation regarding the 2027 general elections and, more importantly, the future of our dear nation.
Our discussions were frank, thoughtful, and anchored on the urgent need to reposition Nigeria on the path of unity, security, stability, productivity, and inclusive governance. At a time when our nation continues to grapple with economic hardship, rising insecurity, and deepening social divisions, it has become imperative that Leaders across regions come together to reflect, consult, and act in the overall interest of the Nigerian people.
Nigeria today requires leadership that is guided not by personal ambition, but by competence, character, capacity, and compassion. The kind of leadership that understands that governance is not about sharing what is left, but about creating what is needed. We must move from a consumption-driven nation to a production-driven one, where our vast human and natural resources are effectively harnessed for the common good.
The 2027 elections must therefore not just be seen as another political exercise, but as a critical opportunity to reset the trajectory of our country. It must be about the Nigerian child who deserves quality education, the struggling entrepreneur who needs a conducive environment to thrive, and the millions of citizens who simply desire a secure and functional nation.
I remain convinced that through sincere dialogue, unity of purpose, and a firm commitment to doing what is right, Nigeria can and will rise again.
A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO

Never seen a more useless people than them. The self hate is so evident. They hate themselves so much that they transferred it to every black African. Meanwhile they're dogs to the people who actually maltreat them. Fools

South Africans summoned Chinese, Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi and other non-African shop owners in South Africa to board meetings to force them to dismiss any other African nationals they employed, because they do not want other Africans working for them.

In my 15 years of Sports Journalism - I have covered five National Sports Festivals, and there has never been a time that Team Anambra missed any edition.
Not in the last decade, and certainly not when Peter Obi was Governor. They have always participated.
Less than a month after taking office in (March) 2006, following the removal of Chris Ngige by the courts, the transition did not impede Anambra from sending a team to participate at the 2006 Gateway Games in Abeokuta
In fact, the Local Organizing Committee (LoC) could not alter the brochure for the Games, which they had already prepared ahead of time; still showcasing Ngige as the Governor, one month after PO had resumed.
If he wasn't keen on sports, he could have used an excuse that he was still new in office, and not release funds. Anambra might not have fared so well at that Games, but they competed.
You just summarily tweeted that they never sent a team, when there's so much proof on the internet that they were at all the NSF when PO was Governor.

The concept of a man who as governor could not sponsor his state’s team to National sports festival or even build a township stadium telling Nigerian youths the usefulness of sports and they’re lapping it up. All of you love Fugazi. I hope he wins so you can witness it in 3D

Still in Bauchi State.
As part of my itinerary in Bauchi state yesterday Thursday 23rd, 2026, after visiting, Madarasatu Intisharul Islam Qismu Tahfizul, Qur'an, Yelwa, I visited Malikiya College of Nursing Sciences, Bauchi.
I had visited the institution in the past and donated 10 million naira which they used to set up their ICT computer centre, which I was impressed to see alongside their increased student intake. During my visit, I donated another 10million naira.
Health is critical for development and we must invest in the human infrastructure needed for that development.
