@GuerillaLawyer @taco_talks Yes, God alone knows who is truly saved. But we can find evidence of salvation in good works, charity, love, obedience and the fruits of the Holy Spirit. I believe that God has already sovereignly decided who is saved and who isn't, because of His omniscience.

@Emi_Okamura_ @taco_talks Well, it’s unfalsifiable but that’s clearly an argument you’ve heard before. The one I’m curious about here is assurance. Surely you can concede the point that it’s impossible to know if one is saved until they’re judged, right?

Christians Cannot Lose Their Salvation

@GuerillaLawyer @taco_talks I am a calvinist, so I think someone that permanently falls away from the faith were never granted genuine saving faith, therefore they didn't lose salvation. I don't know why things occur the way they do, but I trust in God's righteous judgement. I'd love to hear your thoughts!

@paleochristcon @pureMetatron I don't think that changes if someone is Christian, a church with female/gay clergy can still be Christian if the scriptures are read, they don't encourage sin, and God is worshipped. You could call them weak in faith, but Paul is clear how to treat those in Romans 14.

@pureMetatron I think doctrine matters quite a lot or you get subversion. For instance, female clergy....is that christianity? Openly gay clergy? They will all claim they accept christ. If you claim they aren't you already making decisions that saying "Christ" makes you christian.

Since I publicly said I’m going to raise my child Christian, people have been leaving comments that look like this. Make sure he is protestant, Catholics aren’t Christians. Make sure he is Catholic, only Catholics are Christians. And every other flavor. I’m gonna say it bluntly. If you believe Jesus is God and you believe He was resurrected, you’re a Christian. I don’t care which version. Still fits the definition. The doctrinal differences on everything else could make you right or wrong on doctrine, but you are still a Christian no matter if Orthodox, Catholic and ALL the rest. The idea of denominational exclusivity whereby ONLY your single version makes you a Christian is SATANIC and of the Devil. He wants to push people away from considering themselves Christians. The Lord wants us all to come to Him. I’m NOT willing to change my mind on this view.

How would you even explain to someone who is secular that abortion in case of rape shouldn't be allowed? Because abortion policy is applied to Christians and non-Christians alike.

@Dronebooru @KinaMagica I am not pro-choice, but I think it should be allowed as option that a mother can choose to abort in case of rape, since it is a massive responsibility and the entire pregnancy will remind her of the rape. No abortion is good, but I don't think they have to do with moloch anymore
