@packrat74 Yes we use the google maps layer overlaid on the likes of Griffith’s Valuation. Very useful for pinpointing homesteads #Ancestryhour ☘️

@MsFrugalone Don’t forget to check the rim of any medal. Frequently had the soldiers name engraved. I missed that one for ages 😩☘️

Where did you get your given name? Sadly mine is not for an ancestor even though I had a David Whitney in my tree. No mine was picked out of a hat chosen by my teenage sister - guess where the inspiration was from in 1969!
