One day you will leave Nigeria and suddenly electricity is no longer a problem for you. You no longer think about it. You no longer factor it into your plans and existence. It is no longer part of your decision making process. One day.

To you, data analysis is about knowing how to use softwares Abi? A lot of you are missing the basics Your job as a data analyst is to know how to use data to solve problems. The tools are just the means to the ends. Knowing how to use kitchen utensils doesn’t make you a good chef
Tonyo@bayelsa_duke

@ibn_wittig An Excel data analyst would have been much better. How about Data analyst that doesn't know how to use Google looker, Tableau and other Analysis software or programmes?

Good morning and Happy New Year. I warmly welcome everyone to 2026. I pray this year brings us growth, clarity, peace, and open doors. May God, who kept us through the past year, guide us each day, protect our loved ones, and bless the work of our hands. May we end this year with joy, gratitude, and testimonies. Amen.

I was born in kaduna, and i grew up there, my parents used to speak Igbo to us so i understood perfectly but couldn’t speak. When i got to Uni which had predominantly Igbo people, i had to learn because it was embarrassing responding to my friends in English when we’re having conversations in Igbo. I felt like i didn’t belong in the circle even tho they never made me feel that way. I started speaking EngilIgbo and after a while i switched to have full conversations in Igbo. Not being born in the East is not an excuse for an adult to not know how to speak Igbo. It’s not the flex some of them think it is.
IFY@Ifyyodunze

Growing up in Abuja I didn’t know nothing in Igbo asides bia, gawa and certain food and animals names but my first language was English. We only spoke English at home. Everyone in my family got surprised when i came back after almost a decade abroad speaking Igbo to an extent because i decided to teach myself through online classes. All my gadgets are in Igbo, I don’t even know what an English twitter looks like because mine has been in Igbo since 2018. This year i started paying a physical tutor monthly to teach me. Truthfully it’s embarrassing learning my language as an adult but I rather be embarrassed than not know. Now every-time I’m on the phone with my parents they both speak Igbo to me and correct the ones I say wrongly. It’s not our fault that we don’t know our own language but at a certain age there’s no one to blame asides yourself because if you wanted to you would.
