The amount of stock many people put in being a “Harvard grad” decades after graduating says a lot about the silliness of higher ed credentialism

@sri_batchu Thanks for explaining. Appreciate you sharing VC opportunities, and you didn’t create the JD. Just hard to see these requirements for junior roles. Even if high earner many have loans, family obligations etc.

@emilykramer This particular hiring manager’s expectations might be high for 4 YOE. Investing is a relationship business and technical folks are high earners. I know many that have invested in friends’ companies or are scouts at a VC fund by 4 years out of school.

@michlimlim Way back when I was at @asana everyone participated and we all just made something—a video, swag designs, an alternative homepage, a blog post on something you wouldn’t normally write about etc. “ship something in a day” pretty much works for every team

My company is holding an internal hackathon soon. Engineers will be building cool features. Any ideas for how designers, PMs, marketers, bizops, recruiting, and support can participate in the hackathon?

@emilykramer You can it tracks latest source out of box 📦 now and syncs to account + opportunities. Before you’d have to setup workflows to freeze the utm at qualified stage and map it b/w objects. I think I had a post in que for that next week 😆

1/8 Part 1 / 3 — One of the reasons I like Hubspot compared to something like Pardot - original source! It’s also one reason I hate it (hello Offline Sources) but let’s go deeper. Traditionally you’d have to place unique parameters (like UTM source/term/content/campaign) on
