Breaking News: Threatened Status of Corals Updated. New updates by the IUCN Red List report that 44% of stony coral species are threatened with extinction—an 11% increase since 2008. Acropora corals are in bad shape = 99 (of 150) species are listed as Endangered!

Last week, we had the first task force meeting for the development of the new MCA in East Pemba. The task force consists of members of the Government and NGOs and will go around Pemba to present the project to communities in September. We are getting there!
