@adeelorama @WhiteHouse After reading through the executive order, it doesn't seem that educators or students will be a part of the task force.

A few thoughts on the @WhiteHouse Executive Order on Artificial Intelligence in K-12 Schools: 1. I think this happened because of the ramping worldwide race to be the leader in artificial intelligence on the global stage. Other countries (including our biggest rivals on the world stage, China) recently made similar moves. 2. If you believe that AI is the most important technology of the next 100 years, it makes sense to for a nation to focus on schools and preparing youth to be the technology leaders of tomorrow. An AI strategy for schools and districts is not a luxury, it's a requirement. 3. Before this order, educators have been leading the movement to bring responsible AI to their students. Educators using our @magicschoolai student platform with their classes has nearly doubled since December. 4. I hope the task force includes classroom educators and students.
