So far in #EM203Robin I have learned about the impact the internet has had on our society, the way we communicate, and learn! This shift requires us to be aware of our learning styles so we can fully benefit from the availability of multi-media sources. Can't wait to learn more!

@EM203hmotard Hi Hailey, I agree that the internet has created speedy communication like nothing before! Do you think that this communication, while extremely beneficial could have negative consequences for many people in the future? If so, would you think communication is more important?

@EM203PCroteau Hi Peter, I agree the internet is very important to fostering new ideas and revolutionary thinking using insanely fast communication. The internet has opened a vast array of knowledge to the global population at a rate never seen before.

Even when an expert is teaching me, I still use the internet. The simplicity and accessibility of the internet is revolutionary. As digital native's we must engage with experiential learning to truly acquire new knowledge and skills #EM203Robin

@EM203MPatenall Hi Madeline, I appreciated your insights! Do you believe the accumulation of knowledge fostered by social media and online has caused more detrimental effects than positive? I believe it would be hard to pinpoint but there are definitely positives and negatives!

@Em203MTester Hi Maddy, I appreciated your insight on why was technology has increased our learning and has caused an appreciation for our learning styles. Do you think the positives of technology in regards to learning outweigh the negatives? I think yes as it creates numerous opportunities!

@HarinikaSelva Hi Harinika, I’m curious on your thoughts of multi-tasking via technology. I know I can catch myself checking my phone mindlessly sometimes while working on assignments, and while technology is convenient it can create barriers as well.

I have learned a lot about learning in the digital age in the first lessons of #EM203Robin. So far we have learned about connectivism as a learning theory and The 3 M's: Multi-media, Multi-modal, and Multi-tasking.

@SimonneFlynn16 Hi Simonne, I am am interested in your reflection of the benefits of technology. Throughout my daily life I can appreciate the ease it has created for people all around the globe, and the connection it has brought to people as well!

I am in #Em203Robin this semester, and the first three classes have made me reflect on how much technology is an integral part of our learning. We rely on it for online classes, distant learning, and completing assignments/homework. I'm looking forward to learning more!

I have enjoyed the first 3 weeks of the Twitter course so far! I have learned about the benefits in learning and information sharing that the digital age has brought to us. In addition, I have started to see some of the draw backs of social media as well! #Em203Robin
