it’s funny how hotd writers had a complete material for this show & all they had to do was just follow it but somehow making up things such as false characters, unnecessary relationships, nonexistent battles and unrealistic scenarios seemed ‘more easy’ and now it’s a mess.

alicent expecting rhaenyra to be the bigger person despite refusing to take any accountability for her actions and after years of torment and harassment she put rhaenyra trough is really last nail in the coffin, she only returned because she felt powerless & alone.
