I had a great time at Northwood University with my high school team for basketball camp! It was so much fun playing against other schools and getting to see what college life is like! Grateful for the experience 🏀🏀

As I reflect on my season I want to recognize my partner on the field. A pitcher is only as good as the person behind the plate, and I couldn’t have asked for a better catcher and friend @MadisonHodges33 Thank you for every blocked ball, every frame, every mound visit, and every time you believed in me—even when I didn’t have my best stuff. You made me better, gave me confidence, and were the steady presence I could always count on. I’m so grateful for everything you do and for every inning we shared together. That’s a wrap on my 13U season. We finished the year in Holland, MI, going 5-1 before falling in the semifinals. It was an awesome weekend with my teammates and the perfect way to close out an unforgettable season. I’m incredibly proud of what we accomplished together. We finished 51-27-5 against great competition, won a championship, were runners-up three times, and made several more semifinal runs. Every tournament challenged us to get better. Personally, this season was all about growth. I spent countless hours working on my pitches, improving my command, and becoming a more complete pitcher. I threw nearly 200 innings, recorded 150+ strikeouts, and reached a personal-best velocity of 56 mph. None of this happened by accident. It came from a lot of work, great coaches, supportive teammates, and family who believed in me every step of the way. I’m proud of how far I’ve come, but I’m even more excited about what’s ahead. Traveled to Denver with my sister @AvaA2027 and @Turnin2_Vawter for the @triplecrownspts Colorado Sparkler. The plan was I’d be on standby given they were short on pitching and roster depth, especially given the heat and elevation. On Saturday in bracket play, I got asked to dress! I pitched 3 innings, striking out 3, and drove in Ava too! as well! What a great experience to play up in 16u at the Sparker as a 2030! Let’s hear it for Chloe McPherson on being named to the All-Region Team! Chloe was absolutely dominant in the circle this season, shutting down opposing offenses week after week. Her elite command, racking up strikeouts, and ability to control the game kept us in a position to win every time she took the rubber.
