@MuseumofKitchen I mean, Jesus did really well with his breaded fish restaurant, but no, I meant Jeremy Clarkson.... Mk2 did us & herself proud with A*, A & B, so has got into first choice of Uni. Apparently today she is bleaching her hair, should be interesting....

Good luck to all those (including Mk2 daughter) who are getting their A level results today, remember even if they are not what you want you will be able to do something with them. JC posts yearly that he never got any yet is a multi millionaire, so it just goes to show.

I came across one of these when visiting a Mexican village. It's a traditional Mayan Pib - a method of cooking I'm tackling for some learning resources.Underground ovens traverse many cultures, but I've never created one. Has anyone else? I'd love to know. #undergroundcooking

@davided41633250 It could be, but more likely used for sugar paste borders. If you read my blog post museumofkitchenalia.co.uk/museum-blog/f/… you'll see how they were similar and often made by the same wood carvers. This one has a provenance to suggest it was used for gum paste.
