I just came across this risk free play so thought of sharing… something that’s actually risk-free on principal. not low risk or like not safer than others.. i mean if you change your mind, you can literally get your money back. It’s $FT @flyingtulip_ sale by @AndreCronjeTech > example of how this sale works: you buy $FT at $0.10… you put $10k in → you get 100,000 tokens. now 2 outcomes. if the protocol sucks… no traction or market turns ugly and price goes below your entry price you burn the 100,000 tokens → smart contract sends you back $10k. - no email. - no approval. - no team discretion. you burn $FT → you get your $ refund. Actually principal protected. but how are they even able to do this? because your money isn’t being spent. your deposit sits in a segregated reserve and is deployed into low-risk yield (aave style). that yield funds operations + buybacks. your principal stays intact so it can be refunded anytime. that’s the key. they’re basically baking a perpetual put option into the token itself. now if it works? here’s the flywheel: users deposit → capital earns yield → protocol generates fees → fees buy back $FT on market → tokens get burned → supply shrinks → remaining tokens become more scarce. so while your downside is capped at $0.10, the upside comes from: > fee revenue > buybacks > deflation > growing usage team also gets zero tokens at launch. they only earn if the protocol makes money. so they don’t eat unless the flywheel spins. that’s the alignment piece. so worst case: you exit at cost. best case: protocol actually works and supply shrinks over time and you earn structurally, principal risk is removed. that alone makes it worth looking at.
