There’s something about birthdays and expectations. First scenario is you have a group of friends, and they’re all still struggling to find their feet and make ends meet, you cannot honestly expect them to gift you expensive stuff on your birthday. Second scenario is you go through the year wishing people “happy birthday” without gifting anyone anything, then on your birthday you somehow expect “thoughtful gifts” to flood your home? Be fr nigga! What goes around comes around, control your expectations and you won’t get hurt.
