@infodes80 @prpeju When he's shown an image with a barrier removed, he concludes there are less liberty ! I guess he has many barriers in his mind :(
English

@EmmanuelSPV Absolument naze. Un tout petit chemin. Rien de kifant.
Pourtant y avait la place de fairr qqch de bien. Et en plus, les riverains me peuvent plus se garer, se déplacer. Vraiment merdique. Encore. Et dans 2 mois c’est une porcherie

@prpeju @JorisCizzle @philocomix It’s not forbid at all to use a car in Paris ! Just open Google maps and click at a random place in Paris ans you’ll see many.
English

@EmmanuelSPV @JorisCizzle @philocomix Your analysis is illogical... Demand of parking decrease because it's forbid to use a car. For what any of parking types if not allowed to have car or there is no roads? That's communist movement...
English

@prpeju @JorisCizzle @philocomix When you think like a hammer everything looks like a nail ! But the truth is that even the ultracapitalistic companies handling the underground parkings are seeing pouring billions on ads to make you believe you need a car does not work as much as before.

English

@prpeju @JorisCizzle @philocomix Your analysis is incoherent. If people really want to use their car, then the disappearance of parking spots in the street should make the demand for underground parking rise through the roof, I mean, through the ground ;) And yet it diminishes too.
English

@EmmanuelSPV @JorisCizzle @philocomix not lack of demand... they modifying cause of communist rules... Not sure if you understand correctly meaning: "demand" or "choice". Lack of demand is when we have huge streets in cities and tousends of parkings but noone wanna use car.
English

@prpeju @JorisCizzle @philocomix For the irony, here the opponents (who lost the election by a wide margin) would never consider the communist approach to criticize this, they rather say the mayor is removing parking on street to give money to the private companies owning underground parkings ;)
English

@JorisCizzle @EmmanuelSPV @philocomix The only one ignorance here is that you ignore people needs and force them to change like communist government. Showing me multiple pics of streets full of cars and transformed to empty pavements. On every picture the same results.
English

@JorisCizzle @prpeju @philocomix And very capitalistic private companies owning underground parkings are modifying them to account for the lack of demand ;)

English

@prpeju @EmmanuelSPV @philocomix What a pathetic pirouette.
You have no clue of the habits of people living in Paris, two third of which don't have a car, in a downward trend.
There's an overcapacity of private parking space.
English

@prpeju @philocomix Hundreds of street sections where there is a school exit has been changed that way, and the election was a landslide victory for the team in chrage, so people see the benefit of having protected school exits instead of car parking.
English

@philocomix @EmmanuelSPV Not sure if you think about this what you just wrote because sounds like bullshit. On the first pic there are cars so that means people were going there and use that road. Now they removed road and made pavement and now, nobody there. When was this road more needed? Now or then?
English

@EmmanuelSPV So, before - a space actually useful for people, and after - better aesthetics?
English

@pere_pain @EmmanuelSPV Le revêtement du dessus avait du charme ?
