The long part of it is we bought a cash car last year from a local dealer in our city which sold us a defective car. The vehicle only drove for about 6 months and we have had it for a year and a half. The transmission fully blew out on it. There aren't many laws for Louisiana against maliciously selling a junk car so we at least tried to get it fixed with not much progress. We have mechanics willing to fix it, even make the repairs a monthly payment, but it's simply due to the fact there's no transmissions available locally for my model. We both got ripped off. So with that my wife is locked to working from home and I am locked to a 2 mile walking radius from my apartment. We've tried getting a car from MANY local dealerships and they all disregarded at our $1k down payment and the car we traded in. We have above average credit, just no history really. That $1k down-payment we saved is currently going to the bills/rent while she tries to grab another job as I am also looking for better local work for full time employment. Things will obviously get better once I am back on top of bills and we both get better jobs. I still have some of my old queue that I haven't fully finished and to those commissioners still waiting I both apologize for the wait and appreciate the patience as nobody really got on my case about the wait times. I used to be extremely fast with c0mm5 but that's just because I used to live with my parents and that's ALL I EVER DID!

So I have to reopen emergency c0mm!ss!0ns again. The tl;dr is my wife's job replaced her with AI suddenly and my job switched me from full-time to part-time. We also don't have a functioning car and can't afford a new one or to get ours fixed because of what recently happened with her work.
