@cloudwhine Well, it's a leap of faith. Somebody did that when they decided to come out of the cave, tried to strike 2 rocks, imagined to fly like a bird, look out to the skies- the whole shebang; It's coded in our DNA, beating all odds to stick around- a speck of dust floating in the Space

My entire college experience was truly about meeting ppl with leftist politics who loved the idea of class struggle as an aesthetic but were horrified to learn my dad had a ninth grade education and I was in the same class as them

S SREESANTH ON HARBHAJAN SINGH. 🗣️ BHAJJI MADE 1CR FROM SLAP-GATE. 💰 “There were recently no problem between us, but he made and ad about the slap-gate incident and made around 1cr off it”. SREESANTH WILL NOT FORGET. ❌ “He called me after the ad and asked me to post a story about it, I told ‘I’ll forgive, but I’ll never forget’. If you forget, they’ll do the same thing again, he’s the biggest example of it”. SREESANTH HAS BLOCKED BHAJJI. 🚫 “I’ve no relationships with that person. I used to call him a brother, but in the last 2-3 months he that ad and now I’ve blocked him on Instagram”. (Matrubhumi).

Two things about David Miller: As a finisher, he doesn't play those funky behind-the-wicket ramp shots. Hence, if a bowler nails his yorkers in high pressure situations, Miller will only be able to dig them out for 1s or 2s. Thats what RCB did last evening on the first 7 balls that Miller faced, leading him to be 6 off 7 balls. But then comes the other side of the coin: Few batters are as strong as him when the bowler errs. Its that "in the arc, out of the park" philosophy that makes him dangerous. If the bowler misses his mark even slightly, Miller is one of the cleanest hitters of the ball. And bowlers would make mistakes given the pressure in T20s. Both sides of the coin eere visible yesterday. RCB missed out on their lenght to Miller only thrice in 10 balls. Miller on those three balls scored 6, 6 & 4 taking Delhi to a win 👊

Here is a video of a North Korean IT worker being stopped dead in their tracks upon being required to insult Kim Jong Un. It won't work forever, but right now it's genuinely an effective filter. I'm yet to come across one who can say it.

@pcaversaccio @eiritana I would be interested in seeing data that supports the idea that DPRK workers are stopped dead in their tracks upon being required to insult Kim.

🚨 KEVIN PIETERSEN ABSOLUTELY COOKED THOSE WHO CALL INDIA UNSAFE 🔥 “I always say to people: if you’re a cricketer, you come to India and you don’t enjoy India, there’s something wrong with you. Because the level of service here is better than anywhere else in the world. No one treats a cricketer anywhere in the world as good as they treat them here in India. Nowhere. Hands down, nowhere.’’

There may not yet be be a vacancy but I do hope Shreyas Iyer doesn’t go the Ravi Shastri way: the best leader never to be the Indian captain (Shastri did lead India in one Tes though, Madras 1988 when the skipper Dilip Vengsarkar fractured his arm in the previous Test) Shreyas Iyer stays calm yet is a very effective leader #PBKSvsCSK #IPL

I've travelled in both banglore and delhi metro now. delhi metro connectivity is remarkable honestly. meanwhile banglore has focused more on the metro stations instead of connectivity. But in blr metro there are 2 security guards at each platform making sure someone doesn't cross the yellow line to prevent such incidents. something like this should be in delhi too, coz lack of civic sense is real here, I've seen people spitting in the metro tracks. when the government does something good, it's the people who destroys it

This quick dopamine boost while sneaking in snacks in movie halls is not even explainable if you see the amount of taxes paid by people indulging in it.

Two students at NIT Rourkela were tired of walking 2km just to collect Zomato orders. No delivery inside campus. They started a WhatsApp group. 10 friends who would deliver food to hostel rooms for ₹20 per order. No app. No funding. No office. Just a WhatsApp group and poster on hostel walls. First month — 30-50 orders daily. ₹70,000 monthly revenue. 11 restaurant partners. All built on WhatsApp. Their professor never knew. The college that taught them business. Watched them build one.

it’s fucking 2026. wow. haven’t we grown a lot? sometimes we get scared at work, sometimes we don’t work out for 2 months straight. and maybe spend all of the grocery money on materialistic things. spend days just listening to nostalgic songs from 2010 and dance silently. sometimes violently. sometimes just sit on the bed with the leftover lunch plates and two sips of water. we dream of buying that monsterra plant because we think it’ll make our room look better but then think about how no piece of home decor makes us feel whole enough. the spontaneous motivational videos and constant scrolling of 10 minute delivery apps. what are we finding? why doesn’t it stick. we think the world is going to happen tomorrow. tomorrow. what a funny, gut-wrenching empty word. on the top of our list of the words that we hate isn’t it. it’s hope. clinging. years of despair all glued together. we clean our space to get unnecessary clarity and go nothing ahead and do nothing at all with it. and then we learn about neural networks and think of becoming a mathematician. why didn’t we do more math in school.ah, let bygones be bygones. let’s watch a movie. a space movie. life is so beautiful. we pickup slow living from pinterest boards but our eyes say something different. why are they all drained from 15 hours of screentime? where’s the fucking light? it takes us back to beaches and mountains. all the hikes we made it to the sun above the fucking clouds. they flowed like a river. illusion. battles of illusions. which one do we believe: an absolutely rich life at 60 or work hard at 25? from moving from one thing to another, we move on and life goes on to reach greater heights and serious lows and we’re swinging one valley to another, right? how do we forget about pendulums in this modern life. tick. tick. time is running out of words and yet we are finding new songs to dance. what a divine comedy. siblings bring some relief. you see old videos of you singing on top of the bed, spiralling inside. now we see each other only thrice a year. who the hell designed this. everyone on the same timeline. we don’t small talk but we laugh at everyone(in a good way). we don’t want them to feel what we do. sometimes we run performatively and walk without our phones. does it actually help? we don’t know because we are not even consistent. everyday. we’ve got to do it everyday. fucking goggins. we have no original thoughts. it bothers us. it bothers us that we live in a consumption economy but we are not with the creators. sometimes we record ourselves talking shit/wisdom to the camera but then there are 99 others saying the exact same thing with more energy than we’ll ever have? unanswered questions about fatigue. vitamin deficiencies? will kill our potential. that’s one of our top three illusions. it’s so easy, just be disciplined. eat well. move more. your body and sleep well. it’s never enough tho. nobody answers these questions. please someone explain the things that don’t fall in these categories. there are a million of them. bandaids. all of these are just bandaids? what’s the actual thing we wanna do? how do we give this half-baked, self-help advice to our maids? it makes us want to not keep faith. sometimes instagram begs to differ. endless battle of illusions. there’s a fix, but no fix to live. each one lives differently. to each their own. the only way out is through & to define is to limit. doom scroll to your own end or just do some journalling. either way, there’s no other truth than the present. one moment is all we get. and if we do our best in that moment, everything compiles together. and we realise life is so fucking beautiful and all you have is a unit of time at any point of time. everything else is false to live. you can just go back to your dancing.
