John Tortorella declined to speak with the media after advancing to the Western Conference finals. The Golden Knights also didn’t open the dressing room after the game. They brought 1 player into a side room to speak, along with the two who spoke at the podium. I’ve been covering the NHL for nine years and never seen either of those happen once.

@pck525 Really think people are discounting how brutal the loss of Eriksson Ek was in that series. Things are very very different if he's healthy. But yes! No doubt centers are insanely valuable and needed. The issue is....none are available

@EmptyNettersPod For sure but look at the Wild. I know they played the Avs but they were so weak up the middle and it killed them. With talent all across the board. If you're weak up the middle the rest doesn't matter IMO

@kingfan11 Well Robo has no protection. So he could be traded anywhere Dallas wants and as an RFA he doesn't have much leverage. And sure...Dallas wants and needs "win now" players. But they reason they need to consider trading Robo is because they can't afford him
