@squeakadeeks obviously not always an option. And ofc if doing anything outdoors you want to be careful not to leave any contaminants behind other than the fumes. Not a cosplayer but miniatures involve a lot of the same materials (2/2)

@squeakadeeks Absolutely forced air flow if indoors. Depending on the material that can just mean fans blowing in at one window/door and out another (paint, plastic cement), or handling the materials under a hood and venting directly outdoors (3d printing). Outdoors is best but (1/2)
