@ZhugeEX NTE has some good ideas that would make for a cool single player RPG, that is, a real game. What merits it has are systematically undermined by its nature as a gacha game. Character designs (mostly female) are mediocre gacha bait. Instead of Anime Control, it’s Urban WuWa. Dull.

Anyone playing this? What's the general consensus?

Rewatching films like 1951 Alice, that uses color as a primary storytelling language, you realize how much we’ve lost to the 'gritty, desaturated' trend. Modern films seem allergic to colors & treat them as something that needs to be 'corrected' or subdued to achieve 'realism.'

Neverness to Everness actually has a lot of good ideas for a cool RPG. Unfortunately, the expectations and formulae of a gacha game ruin it. The character designs are mostly cheap and uninteresting, despite touches of color and whimsy. If only it was a real game… #NTE #Gaming

Neverness to Everness is disappointing. I can’t say I’m surprised. The character designs are mediocre, combat is merely adequate gacha RPG combat, the dialogue is weak, and the gender ratio for male characters is terrible. And of course, it’s gacha, so points off for that, too.

The gap in my resume is from when darkness took me and I strayed out of thought and time. Stars wheeled overhead, and every day was as long as the life age of the earth. But it was not the end.

Ciri is one of the worst aspects of Witcher 3, which is otherwise a generally impressive game, though probably overrated. I would rather get to know Alvin.

@CrimsonDesert_ Thank you, Pearl Abyss, for yet more improvements. As someone who enjoys playing Crimson Desert game casually, primarily to explore the world, I appreciate the difficulty options. New pets are also very cool, and the Sturdy Gatherables Chest is awesome.
