I took my dad’s library card back to Georgia with me after he passed in June, because he was a lifelong library user and helped instill a love of reading in me. I had it framed with some of my old library cards, and I’m happy with the results.

@stan_sdcollins I will forever remember Stan and am so sorry for your loss. What a kind and talented man. He took good care of us in this part of the “Twitter” neighborhood, as he shared the bits and pieces of his life. 🌺 He will be missed.

I expect the closest followers to me have been expecting this announcement sooner than later now. This is one of the first pictures I ever posted on X so I will use it as one of my last also. Sadly, my health at almost 80 has given up on me and I am now unable to take pictures.

I don't feel I make an impact on students, but try to make the world a better place. Today, a student on the superintendent's advisory panel shouted me out as someone who positively impacted his life at convocation.
