@nickl25 @Cole__Wilder @PaulTassi It's a game that makes you chase rolls for a sense of accomplishment to only make getting said rolls easier later. It's demoralizing to long term players because we know it's better to just not play. I'm a fan of easy rolls but there is nothing to be proud of right now in Destiny

Played 13 hours of the First Descendant beta. Really enjoyed it. However, we finally get to see the monetization model and it’s.. not great. The biggest offender is the paint system. Getting paints to customize your character are locked behind a gacha like paywall. Spend money -> get random color -> apply color to armor. The kicker is the color can only be used on one piece of armor. So if you get dark blue and want to match your helmet to your armor you technically would need to rng gamble until you get 2 dark blues and there seems to be a lot of colors. And then let’s say you unlock a new helmet and want to color that one dark blue you need to rng gamble until you get ANOTHER dark blue since you already used your other one up. It’s really bad. I would be fine with just buying color palettes like in Warframe but this system is not it.

Xur Overhaul: 1) Make him able to spawn literally anywhere. This would create a wild goose chase on Friday that would be fun 2) Make him have something good or rare every week. There are enough weapons and armor to make this happen Am I missing anything?

@techraal @trialsgoblin @GernaderJake Good cheats have hardware spoofs built in, so if detected it's just a random fake. IP is so easy to change it doesn't do anything. Best thing would be a working anti cheat and quicker bans. Manual review of sus accounts would go a long way too.

My issue with Bungie isn’t related to the game itself, it’s their obligation to uphold the integrity of Destiny 2 and their failure to do so. Yes, I’m talking about cheaters, as well as “bad actors” in the community. For those who don’t frequent my streams, it may be difficult to understand just how bad things have gotten. Those who hang out in my Twitch channel need no explanation. I don’t have unrealistic expectations. I don’t expect Bungie to ever solve the cheating issue in their game. Instead, I look at Bungie like a pressure valve, and cheating like pressure. There will always be cheating (pressure), and it’s Bungie’s duty to regulate and reduce that pressure as much as possible to avoid serious damage. But they aren’t doing this, even in situations the seem extremely easy to do so. There are blatant cheaters in this game. Some of which have been in the game for literal years. Even when Bungie does ban some of them, they just hop onto new or stolen accounts and begin cheating again for however long it takes to get caught, affectively making the initial ban meaningless. There are clans completely full of these types of players. Identifying those clans and players would be extremely easy for Bungie, and IP/hardware bans are well within their capabilities, but none of this is done. I could discuss all of the targeted harassment I receive from these players, but that is not the point of this post. Frustrating doesn’t even begin to describe how it feels to see a PvP community, which I once loved and felt proud to be a part of, absolutely littered with these types of players. Getting through a Flawless card on PC is no longer about hoping to win 7 in a row, it’s hoping to avoid cheaters for 7 in a row, and that’s currently very difficult to do. There will be multi hour stretches in the 3v3 playlist where cheaters are in more than 50% of matches. This is my issue with Bungie. The pressure valve has broken. The damage being caused is starting to feel unfixable. As a Destiny enthusiast, and a lover of Bungie games from a very young age, I just want to feel protected and heard, and I do not.

The 3v3 Trials playlist is borderline unplayable at the moment. Hardcore cheaters everywhere, super teams of all 4KD+ players, and matching the same team over and over. If something isn’t done about FBMM soon, the 3v3 playlist is dead.
